Letter styles

Frames (work with any language)

Letter styles change only the basic Latin letters A–Z and digits; accented letters, Korean or Japanese stay as typed. Strikethrough, underline, spaced out, mirror and upside down apply to every character. Some apps and older phones show a few styles as boxes.

How to use it

  1. Type or paste your text into "Your text" (up to 300 characters). Until you type, every line shows the sample "Fancy Text 123".
  2. Look through "Letter styles". Every style updates at once as you type, so you can compare them side by side.
  3. If you want a decoration around the whole text, scroll to "Frames (work with any language)" and look for a frame such as 【 】 or ★彡 彡★.
  4. Tap the line you like to copy it, then paste it into a profile, bio, game name, message or post.

What it does

  • 27 letter styles

Bold, italic, script, gothic, double-struck, monospace, circled, squared, full width, small caps, upside down, strikethrough and more, all listed together.

  • 12 frames for any script

Frames such as 『 』, 【 】 and ♡ ♡ go around the whole text, so they work with Korean, Japanese and accented letters too.

  • Live preview

Each style updates as you type, and before you type anything the list shows a sample so you can see the options.

  • Tap to copy

One tap copies a line, ready to paste into profiles, bios, game names, messages and posts.

  • Plain text, not a font

The styles are built from Unicode characters, so what you copy is ordinary text and nothing needs installing.

  • Nothing uploaded

Your text is converted in your browser. There is no sign-up, and the site stays free because it shows ads.

Good to know

You may know this kind of tool as a font changer, but nothing here changes a font. Most styles swap the basic Latin letters A–Z, a–z and the digits 0–9 for look-alike characters from Unicode, the standard that gives every character a code, and leave everything else as you typed it; strikethrough, underline, spaced out, mirror and upside down act on every character. Some styles lack digits or lowercase letters in Unicode, so those characters do not get a style of their own. The frames work differently: they only add characters before and after your text, which is why they suit any script.

Because the result is text made of special characters, not a font, it has limits worth knowing. Some apps, games and older phones show a few styles as boxes, screen readers may read these characters oddly, and the search on many sites ignores them. Some sign-up forms reject them too. Use them for decoration in a bio or a nickname, keep important information in plain text, and if a style turns into boxes where you paste it, pick another style.

Questions and answers

Is fancy text a real font?

No. It is ordinary text made of special Unicode characters that happen to look like bold, script or bubble letters. That lets you paste it where you cannot pick a font, but it also means some apps may show it as boxes.

Where can I use the text I copy?

Paste it into profiles, bios, game names, messages and posts. Tap a line to copy it, then use your usual paste command. Some sign-up forms reject special characters, so check that the result is accepted.

Why do I see boxes instead of letters?

The app, game or phone showing the text most likely does not have the characters that style uses. Pick a different style from the list and paste it again.

Does it work with Korean, Japanese or accented letters?

Styles that redraw letters, such as bold or script, change only the basic Latin letters A–Z and a–z and the digits 0–9; other characters stay as typed. Strikethrough, underline and spaced out work on any character. The 12 frames work with any script, including Korean, Japanese and accented letters.

Are there downsides to using fancy text?

Screen readers may read these characters oddly, so avoid them for important information. The search on many sites ignores them, which can make a name or post harder to find, and some sign-up forms reject them.

How much text can I convert, and is it uploaded?

You can type or paste up to 300 characters. The conversion happens in your browser, so your text is not uploaded.
