PDF to PowerPoint

Each PDF page becomes one PowerPoint slide. The text goes into text boxes, so you can edit it straight away.

Add one PDF file to convert to PowerPoint.

or drop a file here

Files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser.

How to use it

  1. Click "Choose a file" or drop the PDF you want to turn into slides.
  2. Pick "Editable" or "Exact look" under Conversion.
  3. Set a page range if you only need some pages.
  4. Click "Convert to PPT" and download the .pptx file.

What it does

  • Text in text boxes

Editable draws each page without its text as the background, then puts the text on top in text boxes you can change in PowerPoint.

  • Background and pictures kept

Table lines, photos, shapes and colors stay in the background picture, so slides look close to the original.

  • Exact look mode

For design-heavy decks, each page goes in as one picture so it looks exactly the same.

  • Text colors kept

The original color of each line of text is read and used for the text box.

  • No upload

The conversion runs in your browser and the PDF never goes to a server.

Good to know

Handy when you only have the PDF of a presentation and want to change it and present it again. The slide size follows the first page of the PDF, and pages of other sizes are fitted inside the slide.

Fonts are replaced with standard ones such as Arial, so text width can change slightly. Scanned pages have no text layer and go in as pictures only; use Image to Text (OCR) if you need their text.

Questions and answers

Can I convert PDF to PowerPoint for free?

Yes, at no cost and without an account. The slides carry no logo or watermark.

Can I edit the text on the slides?

With Editable, the text is in text boxes you can edit in PowerPoint. Exact look places pictures, which can't be edited.

Fonts inside a PDF can't be reused, so standard fonts are used. Select all in PowerPoint and pick the font you want.

Does it open in Keynote or Google Slides?

Yes. The .pptx format opens in Keynote, Google Slides and LibreOffice Impress as well.

What about scanned PDFs?

Scanned pages become picture slides. To edit their text, extract it with text recognition first.
