Merge images into one
Put photos next to each other, stack them into a long strip or arrange them in a grid. The preview shows the result as you change the layout.
Add 2 to 50 images: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more.
or drop files here
Fit keeps every picture whole. Fill covers each cell and trims the edges.
JPG has no transparency, so the background becomes white.
Photo details such as EXIF data and GPS location are not copied into the merged image.
Add at least 2 images to merge.
Files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser.
How to use it
- Add 2 to 50 images with "Choose files" or by dropping them onto the page.
- Choose a "Layout": "Side by side", "Stacked" or "Grid" with 2 to 6 columns.
- Put the images in order by dragging or with the up and down buttons, and set the gap, padding, corners and background.
- Pick JPG, PNG or WebP under "Save as", click "Merge images" and then "Download".
What it does
Three layouts
Side by side scales every image to the height of the smallest one, Stacked scales them to the width of the narrowest one, and Grid arranges them in 2 to 6 columns.
Fit or fill in a grid
"Fit whole image" shows each picture complete inside its cell, while "Fill and crop" covers the cell and trims the edges around the center.
Spacing and corners
Set a gap of 0 to 100 px between the pictures, outer padding of up to 200 px and rounded corners of up to 200 px on each image.
Color or transparent background
Pick white, black, light gray, cream or any color, or choose transparent for PNG and WebP. A JPG uses white instead and tells you so.
Easy reordering
Drag images into place on a computer, or use the up and down buttons on any device, and remove the ones you don't want.
Good to know
Side by side is the classic layout for before-and-after pictures and product comparisons. Stacked builds a long vertical strip, for example to join several screenshots of a conversation or a web page into one image. Grid suits photo collages and overviews. When the photos in a grid have different shapes, "Fill and crop" gives a tidy, even look, while "Fit whole image" makes sure nothing is cut off.
A merged picture can get very large, especially with many high-resolution photos. If it would go beyond about 16.7 megapixels or 16,383 px on one side, the photos are scaled down to fit, the gap and padding keep their pixel values, and the result line says so. For a smaller file, save as JPG or WebP and lower the quality. The file is saved as merged-image with the extension you chose, and camera details such as GPS location are not copied into it.
Questions and answers
How do I put two pictures side by side?
Add both pictures, choose "Side by side" and click "Merge images". They are scaled to the height of the smaller one, so they line up neatly.
Can I make a photo grid or collage?
Yes. Choose "Grid", set the number of "Columns" and decide whether each cell should show the whole photo or be filled and cropped.
How many images can I combine?
From 2 to 50 in one merged image. If you add more than 50, only the first 50 are used.
Can the background be transparent?
Yes. Choose "Transparent" and save as PNG or WebP. JPG cannot store transparency, so a JPG gets a white background instead.
Why is my merged image smaller than I expected?
Browsers can only handle pictures up to about 16.7 megapixels, or 16,383 px on a side. Larger results are scaled down automatically, and the result line tells you when that has happened.
