How to use it
- Check that "Lottery" shows "US Mega Millions". This page opens on it, and the line under the menu reads "Pick 5 numbers from 1 to 70. Plus 1 Mega Ball from 1 to 24."
- Set the "Number of sets" from 1 to 50. If you wish, list "Numbers to exclude" or "Numbers to include", separated by commas.
- Click "Generate". Each set appears as a row of balls, with the Mega Ball after a plus sign. "Sort from low to high" is ticked by default.
- Copy one set with the copy button beside it, or click "Copy all" to take every set at once.
Good to know
Mega Millions asks for two kinds of numbers: five main numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball from 1 to 24, each drawn from its own range. This generator follows that format and picks all of them at random with your browser's cryptographic random number generator. It is useful when you would rather not choose, or when you want a batch of sets for a group or an office pool.
Random means that no set is better than another. A run such as 1 2 3 4 5 is exactly as likely as any scattered set of numbers, earlier draws have no effect on later ones, and nothing can predict a draw. This page gives no gambling advice. If you play, set a budget you can afford, play only where it is legal, and stop if it stops being fun.
