Yes or no wheel
Ask a question, spin the wheel and let chance answer yes or no.
How to use it
- Think of a question that has a yes-or-no answer. The wheel starts with two slices, "Yes" and "No".
- Click "Spin" and wait for the wheel to stop. The answer appears in a pop-up under "The winner is".
- Click "Spin again" for another go, or "Close" to go back to the wheel.
- To change the answers, edit the list under "Entries, one per line", for example by adding "Maybe". Your edits stay on this device.
Good to know
A yes-or-no wheel suits small decisions you have been turning over for too long: whether to go out tonight, order dessert or start the task now. It also turns a dispute in a group into a game, because everyone can watch the wheel spin. For choices about health, money or the law, do not leave the answer to chance.
Notice how you feel when the answer appears. If you find yourself hoping for the other slice, that tells you something the wheel cannot. For a best of three, spin three times and go with the majority. Each line in the list is one slice, so add "Maybe" or "Ask again" if two answers are not enough.
This is the Spin the wheel tool with a ready list, so you can swap the answers for any options and use it as a general picker. "Shuffle", "Sort A–Z" and "Copy share link" work on the list too. Each ready-made wheel keeps its own edited list on the device, separate from the main wheel, and the full tool is one click away in the breadcrumb.
Questions and answers
Is the yes or no wheel random?
Yes. Each spin uses the browser's cryptographic random number generator, so with the two starting slices, Yes and No are equally likely, and the result cannot be predicted or steered.
Can I add Maybe or other answers?
Yes. Type one entry per line under "Entries, one per line", up to 500. A spin needs at least two entries.
Will my edits be remembered?
Yes, on this device. This ready-made wheel keeps its own list, so changing it does not touch the main wheel or the food wheel.
Why did Yes or No disappear from the wheel?
The option "Remove the winner after each spin" is probably ticked. Untick it, and type the missing answer back into the list.
Can a group watch it together?
Yes. Click "Full screen" for a classroom or a video call, and turn "Sound" on or off to suit the room.
