1-minute timer
Set to exactly one minute, so there is nothing to type. Click "Start" and the alarm sounds after 60 seconds.
Time is up

Keep this tab open while the timer runs.
Good to know
One minute is short enough to commit to and long enough to feel. It suits a plank or wall-sit hold, a speaking drill where you explain an idea before the alarm, and the answer window for a quiz question in a classroom or at a quiz night. It also works as a tidy-up challenge: see how much of the kitchen you can clear before the time is up.
The countdown is easy to follow from a distance. Put it in full screen on a laptop propped up in front of you, or leave it in another tab and glance at the tab title, which shows the time left. Keep the tab open until the alarm sounds, because closing it stops the timer.
Questions and answers
How do I time 90 seconds instead of a minute?
Before you click "Start", set "Minutes" to 1 and "Seconds" to 30. Any mix of hours, minutes and seconds works.
Can I run several one-minute rounds in a row?
Yes. After the alarm, click "Stop alarm". The boxes still show one minute, so one more click on "Start" begins the next round.
Can I check the alarm sound before the minute starts?
Yes. Open "Alarm sound", pick "Beep", "Chime" or "Bell", set the "Volume" and click "Test". Pick one you will notice from across the room.
